Jeffrey Zell

Jeffrey Zell received his Bachelor of Science with a dual major in Accounting, Banking, and Finance from New York University in 1974. In 1975, he received his Master of Business Administration in Taxation from New York University. Jeffrey was Hired by Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1975, where he attained the level of manager in the firm's Tax Department. In 1981, Jeffrey joined KMG Main Hurdman as tax manager in its New York Office. Jeffrey's client base has included both public and privately held companies, international and domestic. He has performed consulting and tax planning services for companies in manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing, e.g., McKinsey & Company, Inc., Texaco, RJR Nabisco, BMW, Seiko Time, Gray Advertising, TSS Seedmans and Adolfo Menswear.

Mark I. Ettinger

Mark I. Ettinger received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College in 1978. He received his Master of Business Administration in Taxation from New York University in 1981. Mark was hired by Arthur Young and Co.'s National Office of Accounting Research in 1979. He joined its New York Tax Department in 1980. In 1984, Mark joined the KMG Main Hurdman Tax Department and was a manager through 1986. In addition, he was a lecturer for various tax education course offered by the KMG Main Hurdman National Office Education Department. From 1985 through 1987, Mark taught tax and accounting courses at Brooklyn College. Mark's client base has included both public and private companies in manufacturing, retailing and wholesaling concerns, e.g., Mobil Oil Corporation, Wilcox & Gibbs, Pfizer, ABC News, TSS Seedmans and Piper Aircraft.

Our Staff

The staff at Zell & Ettinger CPAs presently consists of two partners, four CPA's, three staff accountants and four secretary/support staff. In addition, the structure in the firm allows for internal quality review procedures, insuring accuracy and completeness. Approximately 18% of our practice consists of audits of financial statements; 20% of compilations and reviews; 50% of tax services; and the balance is comprised of miscellaneous consulting services.

Community Involvement

Our firm encourages involvement in civic, community and charitable organizations. We feel it is our responsibility to the community to share our time, abilities and skills with charitable organizations and community projects. Firm members are active in various religious organizations as well.
